The annual report of COAST has just been released. It covers the reporting period of July 2014 to December 2015. Every year COAST publishes its annual report with a specific theme. Theme or title of this year is Striving towards Self Reliance.
COAST observes that, recent three international decisions, taken by the world leaders, will hugely impact the struggle of development of the small countries like Bangladesh. These three decisions indicate that, Bangladesh has no other options than to be self reliant in terms of food security and climate change adaptation. Moreover, this strives for self-reliance must be started from the community level.
This annual report covers COAST efforts towards the journey of achieving self reliance both at the community level and organizational level. The report describes COAST efforts towards food security, women empowerment, institution buildings, livelihood development, education, farmers-fishers capacity building, adolescent empowerment, advocacy and campaign etc.
Uniqueness of the report, it contain case studies, financial trend analysis of the organization, last five year balance sheet analysis and latest audited balance sheet.
