With support from the Climate Justice and Resilience Fund, COAST Foundation completed the second year of the “Empowering Coastal Communities Addressing Climate Change and Resilience” project (Jan–Dec 2025), reaching 13 sub-districts across 9 highly climate-vulnerable coastal districts. The project adopted a participatory approach, working closely with local stakeholders, government bodies, and communities. Gender-friendly, climate-adaptive income-generating techniques strengthened women’s economic security, while community radio and adolescent learning centers enhanced knowledge, life skills, and climate resilience. Continuous sessions promoted sustainable livelihoods, disaster preparedness, and environmental conservation. Advocacy, networking, and campaigns supported climate-displaced families, marginalized fishermen, and justice-based climate finance at local, national, and international levels.
