In the 8-year of Rohingya crisis, funding has become a significant challenge for the Rohingya. As of September 2015, only 38% funding requirements have been met. The USA government has reduced 72% and similarly, the UK government has reduced 48% of its funds than 2024. To minimise this gap, Bangladesh government has increased funding to Rohingya response by 263% than 2024 by taking a loan from the World Bank. On the other hand, the operation and management costs are very highfor International NGOs and also for UN. local organisation demanded for Reset Rohingya response and engage local NGOs for low-cost management.
