COAST Foundation organized a training workshop on Result-Based Monitoring (RBM) from 26–28 December 2024 at the COAST Charfassion Center, Bhola. The 25 participants included Assistant Directors, Project Managers, M&E Officers, Field Monitoring Officers, Head of MEAL, Project Officers, and Information Management Officers. The primary goal of the workshop was to strengthen participants’ understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), develop relevant tools, and enhance the organization’s Result-Based Monitoring (RBM) system.
A key focus of the training was the development of a guidance document for transitioning COAST’s traditional, non-digital MEAL system to a more systematic, web-based platform. This digital system will integrate all projects into a centralized, real-time MEAL dashboard that tracks targets, plans, and progress. Participants identified gaps and areas for improvement in the RBM implementation, aiming to improve monitoring and reporting across projects. This guidance document can serve as a resource for other organizations seeking to enhance their MEAL systems.
