On 29th January 2017 at Hotel Sea Palace, Cox’s Bazar, a scholarship distribution program was organized by Cox’s Bazar Region, COAST Trust.
This program was chaired by Mr. Mohammad Saiful Islam Mujumdar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ITC) of Cox’s Bazar district. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman
Ahmad, Chairman of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), a famous economist in Bangladesh. Special guest was Md. Abdul Karim, Managing Director, PKSF and is also former Principal Secretary.
Other distinguished guests were Dr. Md. Jasim Uddin, Deputy Managing Director, PKSF, Md. Rezaul Karim Al-Kadri, Senior Reporter, BTV. The Executive Director of COAST expressed warm greetings to the guest of honors and requested to take their chairs in the beginning of the event. Then Moqbul Ahmed, Project Coordination, COAST Trust presented a power point presentation in the audience. This presentation was on the moktab (mosque based religious education) based pre-primary education program and adolescent girls empowering program of COAST that carried on from long time in the marginal communities.
