Due to the impact of tropical cyclone Roanu, total 80% of Kutubdia Island has been inundated and still the saline water is standing in the many houses and ponds. There is a severe scarcity of drinking water. COAST staffs of Kutubdia are hardly trying to mitigate the needs of drinking water through a water purifying machine. This machine can purify 1,000 litre water per hour.
