Cox’s Bazar, May 26, 2024 — In response to the imminent threat posed by Cyclone Remal, we have promptly mobilized resources to assist vulnerable communities. During an emergency response coordination meeting called by the District Administration Office, we pledged substantial support, including dry food, pure drinking water, volunteer assistance, and the provision of two standby vehicles for the District Commissioner’s Office.
Fulfilling its commitment, we in close coordination with the District Administration Office, have successfully delivered dry food and pure drinking water to 1000 individuals including male, female, children, elderly people and person with disability seeking refuge in Saikat Girls High School and Cox’s Bazar Government Women College in Cox’s Bazar.
During the food distribution, AKM Tarikul Alam, Chief Administrative of Cox’s Bazar Municipality, 1 no ward counselor Akter Kamal, Freedom fighter and senior journalist Fazlul Kader Chowdhury, Journalist Imam Khair, Lecturer of Rangikhali Madrasha Ahmed Siddique were present at time.
